Description:
Shrub 5 to 7 m high. The bark is smooth and brown. The leaf has a short petiole; it is usually round or oval with a double serrate margin. The leaf blade is hairy, and the tree leafs out very early. The fruit is a 1,5 cm long and 2 cm wide berry of yellow-brown colour.
