Description: 

Shrub which grows up to 3 m tall. Branches with strong thorns are suspended in an arch. The aged bark is brown to grey, but smooth and dark green on young shoots. The leaves are unevenly downy (5-9 leaves), oval and serrated. Flower can be individual or in a bundle of 3- 5. The fruit is cumulative - rose hip and it contains a large number of square downy nuts.
