Description:
Deciduous shrub which grows up to 2 m tall (without thorns). The shoots in the first year are straight or bent in an arch. In the second year they become branched. Leaves are unevenly downy, composed of 3-5 leaflets, unevenly serrated. On the top side, the leaves are light green and on the underside they are white and downy. The flowers are white and grow in racemes. The fruit is red, berry-like aggregate fruit.

Leaves are used for treating diarrhoea, inflammations in the larynx and liver, and the fruit as forest fruit. It is widely used in the food processing industry.
