Description:
Shrub or smaller tree, 3-10 m tall. The aged bark is dark grey and vertically cracked. On young twigs you can clearly see the lenticels. Leaves are opposite, unevenly downy with 5 - 7 oval and oblong leaflets, pinnate and with a serrated margin. Flowers are white, shield-like. Fruits are black berries with red flesh which ripens in August.

It is used for treating cold, bronchitis, cough, flu and urine excretion.
