Description:
Semi-shrub, 15-30 cm tall. The stems are branched vertically or horizontally on the ground and they can be blunt, somewhat hairy. Leaves are narrow and elliptic, grey-green, with a whole margin and 5-15 mm in size. Flowers are light-red to dark-purple colour with circular racemes at the shoots' apexes.

It is used for cough, for treating respiratory organs, with stomach and bowel diseases, rheumatism and grout. It can be used as a spice. It is also very good as food for bees.
