Description:
It has a circular shape but it can also have an irregular shape, depending on the soil where it is developing. Dimensions can differ, from walnut to potatoes size. It has a warty surface with pyramidal warts 3-5 mm high. It is black and the non-ripe truffles can be reddish. It is very aromatic and has a specific flavour, not too intrusive. It is very tasty and some even call it the black sweet truffle.
